Tierra de Leyendas is the only boutique hotel in the city personally run by its owners: Maia, a Tourism graduate and descendant of Ushuaia’s pioneering families, and Sebastián, a professional chef and natural host. Together, they created the kind of place they themselves would choose as travelers—intimate, genuine, and full of character.

Located in a მშვიდ (quiet) and growing residential area, just minutes from the airport and Tierra del Fuego National Park, the hotel offers the perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility, surrounded by native forest and close to cafés, restaurants, and local shops.

Inspired by the slow travel philosophy, we promote a more conscious, connected, and unhurried way of traveling. With a limited number of rooms, we prioritize quality over quantity, in line with movements such as Cittaslow and Slow Food.

The hotel’s identity is also reflected in its aesthetics and gastronomy: artwork created by the owner and renowned local artists, and an artisanal culinary proposal led by Sebastián, featuring homemade breads, pastries, and signature dishes.

Committed to sustainability, we implement eco-friendly practices and actively contribute to environmental care. Maia is also the creator of the socio-environmental initiative “A Limpiar Ushuaia,” and the hotel is a proud sponsor of the “Ushuaia Eco Pledge.”

During the summer months, our organic garden provides fresh, seasonal produce, harvested by us and offered to our guests.
