About the Hotel

We designed Tierra de Leyendas as the place we would love to find if we were travelers at the end of the world.

We are Maia and Sebastián, your hosts and owners.

Maia was born in Ushuaia, comes from one of the island’s long-established local families and holds a degree in Tourism. Sebastián is a professional chef, recognized for his experience in the kitchens of Plaza Hotel. For more than 20 years, we have chosen to personally welcome every guest and share our own way of experiencing life at the end of the world.

We are located in a peaceful and growing residential area, surrounded by nature and just minutes from the airport and Tierra del Fuego National Park. Within a short walk, you will find restaurants, cafés, a supermarket, a gas station and other everyday conveniences that allow you to enjoy Ushuaia comfortably without giving up peace and quiet.

With a limited number of rooms, we offer a more intimate and personal experience. More time for meaningful connections, sharing genuine local recommendations and caring for the small details that make a journey unforgettable. We believe in welcoming people and making them feel at home.

We embrace a more conscious and slower way of traveling. We believe travel should also help care for the places we visit. That is why we promote sustainable practices, support environmental initiatives and share products from our organic garden. We are proud supporters and partners of Ushuaia Eco Pledge and the environmental movement A Limpiar Ushuaia.
